I've eaten here a number of times, and have found the food always good and cooked to order. The BBT appetizer is excellent! Sometimes the service is a little slow, but for a leisurely dining experience, that's not so important. I've not had the bad experiences other reviewers have indicated, and even walking in without a reservation now and then have been treated kindly as a welcome guest. There are several other local choices of a similar calibre, but I tend to favor Chops for an excellent steak.

Instead of going to Ruth's Chris, decided to try steak place close to home. We waited a very long time for our food. But, the waitress apologized and said that since the place was new, they were still working out the process. About six months later, decided to give the place a second chance. Went there on a Tuesday. There were two other couples besides us. Again had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. This time, the waitress disappeared on us. Once the food arrived, the creamed spinach was just horrible, and the manager was very rude to us. Save yourself the hassle and don't patronize this place. May have to drive to Illinois or Milwaukee but there are better steak places that know how to treat patrons.

Long wait and rude manager, Will never dine here again. My daughter graduated from college this day May 27, 2007 and our dinner celebration turned into a 2-1/2 hour long ordeal. Everything seemed to be going great until we ordered our food. Once we got our salads the wait began. The waiter at first apologized for the long delay and said it was because there was only one cook. The place wasn't that busy. After waiting and being totally forgotten by the entire staff our 2 kids meals came, because we requested that they get them to the kids asap. We sat down at 7pm and finally received our food at 9:30pm. When the check arrived there was nothing done or said. We asked for the manager, he came over and started questioning our reservation times and then explained that 2-1/2 hours is not that long to wait for food for a party of 10, After that the insults began. He asked if we had ever been to a "fine dining restaurant before" of course that sealed the deal and we just paid the check. Never to return to this establishment again.
