Diner reviews of China Cafe
A diner from Modesto, CA

There is something almost spooky about China Cafe. I've lived in and around Turlock for more than 45 years. After my initial visit, I swore that I would "never" return. But, you know, every decade or so, someone would talk me into giving it another try. YUCK! The spooky part is, that this consistently terrible place has an intensely loyal patronage. Over the years I learned to keep my opinion quietly to myself, rather than be lambasted by die hard devotees. I don't get it!

A sad day... they changed their potsticker recipe. I miss the old ones.

This restaurant has really good food. if you are not in a hurry it is a good place toeat. The service is not very good. The General Tso's Chicken was awesome. If you like spicy food I reccomend this dish.
