Tandoori Chicken to die for! This casual semi-fast food restuarant was the best! I am the type of person who is very picky when it comes to chicken...I usually only like white meat chicken that is skinless and boneless. Previously I had never tried tandoori and didn't even know what it was, until a co-worker of mine talked me into trying Chicken Quick for lunch one day. I was a little hesistant due to my finicky ways. When I was served a colorful bright red chicken breast with a soft garlic pita style bread I questioned myself again but found the nerve to give it a taste and...WOW!!!...THE MOST tastious darn chicken I have ever tasted!!! Yes...The chicken came on the bone... in traditional style pieces (i.e. leg, breast, thigh, wing, etc) and the coloring being bright brick red I guess had to do with the flavoring and spices (though it was NOT spicy hot, I figured the redness had more to do with flavoring more then spice). They cooked the chicken infront of you by putting the chicken pieces on a metal skewer and putting it in a tandoori oven (a big ceramic pot behind the counter), it was really cool to see but twice as delicious to eat. Very very good! The sad thing is: I went back to share the experience with my family and found that they no longer were there. I don't know why???...I knew a lot of people who raved about it, plus they had hung a lot of celebrity pictures expressing their fondness of there food too. Someone please help me find the reason why they closed or help me find their awesome recipe! Thank you
For being one of those shops inside a convenience store, they know what a true Mexican taco is. Even though it is 2 dollars a taco with gas prices being so high it is better than going to north town to get a real taco.
