What started as Webster's 1801 in 1980, became Chef Fred's Chesapeake Steakhouse and Chateau de Ville Banquet Center in 2001. Chef Fred Briggeman, and wife Brenda, purchased the property has been providing Salisbury some of the best crabs, and all around dishes since reopening as Chef Fred's. All dishes are made to order with only the freshest ingredients and choice cuts of meats, poultry, produce, and seafood. Fred and Brenda wanted to give customers a place where they could come and enjoy a refined dining experience and a traditional bar and lounge. The banquet facility was added to accommodate parties of any size.
