Newport News Restaurant Guide

Had to wait over an hour for our food. The noise
in the restaurant was awful...we couldn't even talk with the people at our table. The manager came and spoke with other customers...it didn't really help.

Manager did make an adjustment to our check...but too little too late. We eat out quite often and have enjoyed Cheddars in the past, but needless to say, we will not be back.

We definitely were not the only ones not pleased with the atmosphere or the timeliness of service.

THE MOST EXCELLENT RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO IN YEARS. I WENT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND WHO LIVES IN VA.
I WANT THEM TO OPEN A CHEDDARS IN FAYETTEVILLE NC WHERE I LIVE - A MILITARY TOWN- WITH NO GOOD RESTAURANTS. WE NEED A CHEDDARS IN FAYETTEVILLE NC- THE TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES DESERVE TO BE SERVED BY SUCH AN OUTSTANDING, MONUMENTAL RESTARANT!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE CONSIDER!!!!!

I love this place...its my fav restaurant...however I have to travel quite a distance to get there...over all ITS WELL WORTH IT!!!! we need a location in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeqake VA

My experience there was great! I did not like the seating location at first but the hostess moved us and we were quite satisfied. I live in alexandria Va and would like to know if you have a location closer to us or another location in Virginia. we plan to vist you again this weekend 9/9 or 9/10. do you have coupons you can offer me becaue I am bringing others with me that I have told about your food and service. I LOVE THIS PLACE! EVERYTHING is homemade -- the Potato Soup is my favorite, thick and delicious. Though it sometimes isn't piping hot, servers are more than willing to correct the problem. For an appetizer, try either the sampler (nachos with your choice of two: chicken tenders, mozz stix, or potato skins) or the chicken quesadillas. As a meal, the ribs can't be beat. Also good is the lemon pepper chicken. Burgers are more than I can handle and the chicken sandwiches are great too! Awesome sides - corn, baby carrots, broccoli casserole, fries... this place cannot be beat! Also, the desserts - if you have room - are awesome. Great bar and restaurant, very attentive staff! The best part? Its entirely affordable! A full meal for two (without alcohol) is easily under $30!
