My first and last visit was the evening of March 2, 2009. The waitress impatiently waited for our order so we hurriedly ordered a bowl of soup each and a sandwich to split. When the food arrived, I asked for a plate. The waitress said 'yeah' but never returned to the table during our visit. The soup was luke warm and the stromboli was cold and soggy. I went to the counter to get a plate but the two teenage female employees ignored me while they decided how to serve a piece of pie to three teenage boys. Very dissatisfied with the food and service. My friend, however, said he had been there several times for lunch and the food and service was always great at lunchtime. He said the evening meals must be slightly warmed leftovers.-

a diner from Brazil, IN
Chaney's Diner and Deli is located in Harmony, Indiana. The food is good "comfort" homestyle food which always comes in HUGE portions...good value for the money. The salads are very tasty as well. Don't forget to check out their pies, cobblers, etc... If you are prone to be chilly, you better take a heavy sweater. The front door tends to open a lot (lots of foot traffic) and the wind whips through the small building. Service is always very friendly.
The food is really good and the waiters are almost all excellent. There is one girl that works at nights with blonde hair that is kind of iffy but other than that the service is really good. I love going there because it is very relaxed.
