The ambiance is incredible... but the menu doesn't match. The Inn is steeped in history and instead of ordering homemade soups and steaming hot bread fresh out of the oven with fried chicken and heaping mounds of mashed potatoes .... its a menu of French influence, that is so out of place in this country setting in this 18th century Inn. We tried to like it, we really did but food was like something out of freezer & microwaved too long. Too pricey and badly trying to be something it's not. Miss the old cooks & staff!

The Century Inn has very good food but the ambiance was out of this world. The restaurant has a very colonial american feel to it. The food is British style. Shepherds Pie. You can visit their website at www.centuryinn.com. The website even features their menu. YUMMY
