Staying at a hotel on a crummy, snowing night in Morgantown. Generally, when I get into a hotel after 8p I have limited options and I lower my expectations. That said, this was the most horrible experience I have had ordering delivery. I was told 45 min and it finally arrived after an 1:20. Ok, like I said, it was really crummy weather. I specifically asked for condiments with my steak hoagie and fries. I didn't specifically ask for marinara for the cheese sticks (I assume this woudl come with it? or at least give me the option on the phone?) By the time it arrived, the steak sandwich was a cold lump of meat and bread. The cheese sticks were solid cheese again, and the fries were also cold. Ok, if you can't handle delivery becasuse you are low staffed with school on holiday break, just tell me it is pick-up only, let me decide if I want to pick up or not. But don't give me some excuse that you are short staffed, the weather is bad, and you are sorry AFTER you have gotten my $17 bucks !! At this point, what am I to do. The drivers dont want to come out anymore, I don't want to go out in the snow,and they open tomorrow at noon.....long after I am gone. The hotel should be ashamed to endorse this service.
