Excellent pork barbecue and chicken, hush puppys and cole slaw were great, fresh peach cobbler, outstanding service, overall much better than the local competition.

The best barbeque in the Piedmont. I've had take out and dine-in and this barbeque is NC style and delicious.

Have seen it packed many times and wanted to try it. Well, we did....sat for a long time brfore we were waited on...place was empty except for about 4 groups...waiter came said he didn't know he had a table! We ordered...I never got my F.Fries I ordered. Pork was cold and dry...mac & cheese was cold...waiter came ..said I will bring you another diet soda in a few secs...never saw him again. As far as i'm concerned Smithfields has them passed by a mile!!! Better food and service, and it's HOT! OH....a lil skimpy on the portion also...not a good experience at all....WE will NOT be going back. By the way....we had to get up and ask to be waited on. Hope you have better luck.

best chicken and barbecue in nc go check it out loved the family style ... they did a benefit for my son that was injured in car accident and it was wonderful.. the staff was very loving and compassionate to all of us and dont mind helping out people that have needs. thanks to all!!!!

EXCELLENT barbecue! I've eaten barbecue from competitors in the area including Smithfield Chicken & McCall's and Carolina Barbecue is much superior in the flavor of it's bbq pork. The french fries & hush puppies are excellent as well. I have not dined in, only taken out, so that's what my ratings reflect.
