Calabash Restaurant Guide

The worst place to eat seafood, not just in Calabash, but most likely on the entire East Coast. Horrible food, poor service and bad staff. Save your money and your time.

CRAB CAKES WERE AWFUL. THE SERVER WAS PLEASANT BUT KEPT GETTING OUR ORDERS WRONG. EXPECTED A BETTER EXPERIENCE!

We had the absolute best time at Captain Johns! The service was spectacular, food was excellent (best crab legs I ever had), the staff were so great with my 9 month old, and they made my 30th birthday extra special! I have been comig to the area my entire life and am so sorry that was my first time there!! I will tell all friends and family to make a beeline to Captain Johns!!

My husband and I visit Sunset Beach every June and look forward to our trip to Captain John's. The staff is amazing and the food is just as good. We have tried other seafood restaurants in the area and Captain John's is by far the best!!! You have to visit, you won't be disappointed.

Bronx, NY This place is GREAT. Very reasonable prices, and the Hush puppies are out of this world. Waitress/waiter staff are super friendly.
