Restaurant Description

Cap'n Jack's Restaurant served its first cup of clam chowder, clam cakes and fish & chips in May of 1972. It was a 40 seat restaurant with a coffee counter and was only open from May to September.

Still owned and operated by the Piemonte family, today Cap'n Jack's Restaurant is a 250 seat, full service restaurant, open year round, located on a picturesque, salt marsh a quarter mile from East Matunuck State Beach. We still serve house-made clam chowder, fish & chips, and many other seafood, Italian and American specialties. Be sure to try one of our fantastic desserts made daily on the premises.Cap'n Jack's Restaurant remains a "must-stop" to anyone's trip to South County, Rhode Island for an authentic Rhode Island dining experience.
