Best Mexican food in Lake Charles

I always thought that the food was the best Mexican in town!!! After the Hurricane we had flood of imigrant workers, and this was the place they came to eat.

The place is set up in what looks like an old Dennys. Walls are painted with pastel to bright mexican colors. When the staff speaks spanish you know it's good

I get the Carnitas and Kelly-kins gets the Taco de Carne Asada. The margaritas are pretty good too!!

This is a good laid back place with good size servings and great prices. You can get a pitcher of beer and relax with friends. No real backgroung music but the hum of everyone tralking gives it the feel of a real Mexican place.

We get Lisa for a server, a cute Mexican girl, who for the last 10 years we have watched her kids grow up. Now her daughter works part time at the resturant.
