I've been going to Calderwoods since 1990.
We Went in 2009 the first time in maybe 2 years.
I knew something was up when they brought the menus to us, they we're warn out and really looked cheap.
My wife and I just looked at each other and hoped the food made up for it.
My wifes food came her steak was so tiny we just could not believe what has happened to one of are favorite places to eat.
My ribs we're ok but i've had better.
The menu has shrunk and the food is not that good anymore.
So sad I guess the owners don't care there letting it go downhill fast.
Don't go there you can go to many other places and get a better steak dinner and cheaper too.

The discovery of the Calderwood Lodge Supper Club a few years ago was an unexpected joy. The ambience is perfect for a lodge supper club. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly and the cuisine is simply outstanding. What fun - on one occasion a statue spoke to us as we entered, and on a Halloween visit a witch sat down at our table. This well cared for restaurant is always "worth a detour" when we are traveling in Wisconsin.

Calderwood is a restaurant of the highest calibur. The decor is terrific with it's log beamed ceiling and interesting decorations everywhere you look. The food is fantastic! You always come away stuffed from it's generous portions and wonderful food. The menu is large and varied. My brother who travels the world thinks this place is wonderful and sends us gift certificates to Calderwood for Christmas! This is the place to go. Don't miss it. And don't miss the clam chowder, prime ribs, and filet mignon!

A one star rating is generous for Calderwood Lodge in Luck, WI. After being directed to our table we waited 45 minutes and still nobody had come to take our drink order. Eventually a bus boy rounded up two menus for our party of 9. Still no sign of a waiter or waitress. When I inquired about where our waiter or waitress was, the manager didn't even know if there was anybody working in our area of the restaurant. At one point the manager replied to our dilemma by saying, "what can I do about it?" Our hour of waiting gave us time to appreciate the fact that the heat did not work where we were sitting, there was a hole in the ceiling, and the silverware looked like old hand-me-down, garage sale crap that I used to furnish my apartment when I was in college. Eventually we found live bugs crawling on the table. In my mind the Calderwood Lodge in Luck, WI is not a functioning restaurant. We left because the drinks and our food showed no signes of showing up. For the health and well being of you, your family, and your friends don't bother even considing going to Calderwood in Luck, WI.
