The lone young man in the Oakmont branch was lazy, rude, sarcastic, and argumentative. 50 minutes before closing time, all the food was put away and the serving area cleaned. He obvioulsy didn't want to make coffee or sell anything but bags of merchandise already assembled. He argued with me when I said I only wanted one croissant with coffee. He was so rude, I left without buying anything. The employees at the Montgomery Viillage branch are always helpful and pleasant. Perhaps the Oakmont branch employee thinks he can get away with being so lazy and rude because most of his customers are senior citizens who live at Oakmont,. I don't intend to go to this branch again. The management would do well to check up on this branch unexpectedly. Getting everything ready for closing before closing time is not unusual in businesses that have teenagers or very youing adults on their own without competent supervisio . Perhaps it being Friday afternoon is a factor. I don't spend money at places with rude employees.
