What a cool place! Wonderful selection of beers for a location this remote from larger cities. Friendly staff. Great Value and excellent food. This place was buzzing on this early fall afternoon. Very quaint, but not crowded. I would go back again any time I am in this area. I am from Wisconsin but am a big, big fan of the UP. This is one of the better eating places we have found.

After driving for almost six hours we were only about 2 miles from the cottage that we rented we stopped to get something to eat. My wife really enjoyed the Whitefish the best she ever had I tryed the Lasagna oh man I could barley finish it. This was also very good. we got there about 4:00 was not crowded,but by the time we left there was not a seat to be found.I think we really got our money's worth and then some. We were in the area for about a week and ended up eating there four times, every time we tryed somthing different and every time the food was very good. We will be in the area agin this june and looking forword to this stop.
Thanks for the really good food and a great place to onwind after a long drive
