As a general rule, when I return home, I MUST have Brooks Bar B Que. However, when I last dined there on 1.5.08 I was disappointed by the lack of short tips and ribs. When we sat down to eat the ribs, they were so tough and I felt as though we didn't get the best that Brooks had to offer. I will think twice when I return home next time about ordering from Brooks Bar B Que. Best advice I can give would be to go early, perhaps the selection will be better.
Brooks BBQ is great for carryout. The sauce is vinegar based. This may affect some peoples' digestion negatively, especially if you are sensitive. Their ribs are fantastic..the chicken isn't so great. They have a great sweet potato pie. This place is definitely worth getting carryout if you are hungry for ribs.
