The meatloaf was excellent, but without question, the coconut cream pie, with that "foot high meringue" was the best I have had in my life.

Terrific home cookin'. And the pies....oooohhh the pies...they truely are 1 ft high...they keep piling the meringue on. We travel from St. Louis to Indianapolis several times each summer and always plan it so we can stop! Don't miss this little treasure!!!

We ate here in 2004 while traveling, and again Sunday August 23, 2009, and it was as wonderful as we remembered; the food, the people, the restaurant itself. We started looking for signs in western Illinois and are so glad we found the place again.

We ust ate there on Valentines day. The food was great, the prices reasonable and the pies were fantastic. The merengue was at least 5-6 incles hight and very light.
