Restaurant Description

Originally constructed as a log cabin in 1830, the Blackhawk Bar and Grill has seen much history as a prominent trading post in early 1900's. As times changed the property became the Stagecoach Inn and Silver Dollar Bar, however, it fell on hard times in 2001 and closed down.

Kelknight Inc. purchased the home and barn in 2003, and gave it new life as the Blackhawk Bar & Grill and the Stagecoach Barn. We hope to provide you with excellent food, fine drink, and warm hospitality in keeping with the long tradition of the Stagecoach Inn/Blackhawk Bar & Grill. Thanks for visiting and come again soon!

BlackHawk appears on the outside to be an established restaurant that has been for years. The food is "ok" nothing great to recommend. Even a hamburger is average. The green beans came out of a can and the dinner rolls out of grocery store aisle. This place could be a fun place to go ... the owners need to make some changes to get people to repeat their business. I will not go back there till I hear changes have been made!!

We hosted a surprise party here for our parents. The food was some of the worst I've ever tasted. We spent over 1300.00 dollars and received hamburgers that were precooked and left on steamers, potato and fruit salad that had a chemical aftertaste, corn on the cob that tasted as if it soaked overnight in water. When we complained, the apologized and sent us a gift card.
