My friend from Northern CA, brought me to this place just around the corner from my house. She caters and has good food knowledge. I was so delighted sitting in the patio on a lovely warm winter day, having a incredible fresh lunch with great personable service. We shared the grapefruit spinach salad wih enough shrimp to really know I ate protein for the day. $10.25 Also, half of the Le Mediteraneen, a hot sandwich with a small sausage was delicious as well and plenty big. $10.75 Portions were more than adequate. I enjoyed my experience with both the food and ambience. Price wasn't hard to deal with after experiencing the lunch

Brought my older Uncle from Austin Tx He really liked the food .I LOVED IT! Just cant even taste everything! I have been back now twice, just cant wait to come again!! Wish I lived closer! Instead of Roanoke Va..Open one

The shrimp chop suey was simply not edible, we picked out the shrimp and tossed the rest.

I have been eating here since mid 1960's when it first opened up as Vic's Market then expanded when El Abajeno opened as the restaurant next door. Yes! There is a security guard outside, but don't misunderstand that!
