I give Bill's a 5 on everything, even the anbience. I have been going to Bill's all my life and I am 45. I remember eating at Bill's more than my Grandma's house. I love the original stand, not the one by the mall. The orignial stand has plenty of "ambience" that is half the fun. The hot dogs are great!!!! Get several dogs and a cold drink, head to the waterfront and enjoy.

Unquestionably the world's best kept secret. When you walk into the place it is about the size of an enclose ATM on the side of a bank. You can tell that its interior has not changed in probably 60 years. You form in a queue and wait to order your hot dogs, but not long. The ladies can whip out about 30 dogs in a minute so yours come quickly. The best part is next... the taste. It is hard to describe how good they are. One thing is for sure, you will not be happy with just one!

It has the best hot dogs in the world, oh my gosh, but this is according to my friend who claims that she lives in Washington, NC. She says that every morning she would wake up and walk 11 miles to get a bowl of Bill's famous chili and five hot dogs, but wait, you can't buy their chili, it only comes on the hot dogs. She simply put "loves them with all her heart with the exception of Chris, my boyfriend." Her only criticism is that people who work there are too old and that the place needs a website.
