Bigwood Steakhouse in summer
Jim and Karen Hewke, owners of Bigwood Steakhouse and locals of Jackman explain, “After our children grew up and moved away from home we felt our home was suddenly too big for just the two of us. After a lot of discussing and planning we started tearing down walls and remodeling. Our ‘home’ is now a 30-seat restaurant that specializes in steaks, fresh seafood, and down home cooking. We love to delight our guests with great tasting food with the warmth of a home. Our customers tell us time after time what a great job we do. We opened on December 17th, 2004 to a full house & delighted guests, who had been eagerly watching us transform our home into our restaurant. Our goal continues to provide the great feeling of homemade comfort food in the comfort of our home.” Bigwood Steakhouse in winter
