Baume & Blume has delicious food. I had their pot stickers for lunch yesterday. They were delicious. They also have a unique gift botique where you can buy wonderful gifts for friends and family. If you are in Carmel Valley, check it out. Their service is friendly and the quality of their food is excellent.

We came for the Savoring Spain Valentine Dinner and it was excellent! The only minus was the seating was late and it was chilly waiting outside. We could have used a heater. Once we were in, the service was excellent. They also made special dishes for my husband who is allergic to shrimp. We eat Spanish food a lot, and we appreciated the care taken in each of the four courses. Highlights for me were the albondigas de chocos, the lamb with spinach and pinenuts.

I never thought of this spot as a restaurant, as I have only taken food to go from here and the portions were ample, price good and quality high. The gift shop had a great find for a birthday gift and I really like their winter jam, both for myself and as a gift.
