The Avery's have been serving fresh cooked food to hungry folks for years and the family is looking forward to making new friends and continuing the tradition of providing "Good Food & Good Service, the Old-Fashion Way."
The family owned restaurant is conveniently located near the corner of Matlock and Green Oaks in southern Arlington. Come dine in or take you meal to go. The Gile's are definitely what you call "hands-on owners." Mary loves meeting new people and getting to know her customers. She takes the time to visit them at the dinner table and makes a point to call them by name when they come in again.
Whether coming for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed. The lunch and dinner menu is served 10:30 a.m. until close Monday through Sunday. Customers come back again and again for Avery's specialty - Barbeque Ribs and all the fixin's. Of course, they are slow cooked and tender as can be, try them with our delicious potato salad. It'll remind you of Grandma's house on Sundays.
Whatever you do (take home a doggie bag if you must), but leave room for their delicious homemade pies, cakes and peach cobbler,
For catering information contact Mary or email [email protected]. They take their ribs, Yams, potatoes salad, green beans and cornbread all over the DFW Metroplex.. Mary's homemade link sausage is a real crowd pleaser, too. We are happy to serve your next business lunches or dinner.
We don’t have a dining certificate or coupon for Avery's Bar-B-Que in our current feed.

The first time I ate at this place, there was nobody eating there but me. The food had a mildew flavor in their food. I guess because they are not selling anything. The people who run the place, boy she looks HOT. The ol
This was one of the worst restaurants I have even been to. Took forever to place order. Waited 30 minutes before food came. Food was cold. Order was wrong. Quality of food was awful.
They have really good food and the service is great. The two woman that works there go way out of their way to help you if you don't know what you want, very nice and will not cut you of short when you try to talk to the
