I can say one good thing about the Stein Haus, they have a good beer selection.
Outside of that, I can say many negative things about the Stein Haus. At a recent experience there, two people at our table had a hair in their food. Two of us received soup that was luke warm at best. One person didn't receive dressing for her salad and mine and my wife's entrees arrived a little over an hour after we ordered them (15-20 minutes after everyone else at the table received their food - and we ordered when they did). The owner didn't seem to care when I mentioned all of these things to her and actually told me I was being irrational when I brought these things up. I have major food safety concerns and believe the customer service (at least from the owner) is VERY lacking. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

We had the misfortune of choosing this restaurant for our anniversary. We were seated and then waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. It was the bartender from the SteinHaus that was recruited to help. The salad was plain lettuce with bagged cheddar cheese thrown on top. The fettucine with shrimp and scallops was piping hot but tasteless. The veal oscar was lukewarm, bland with a congealed sauce on top. Even the accompanying bread was boring. We had been told when making the reservation we could have a turtle sundae for dessert but decided to pass given the horrible meal. The restaurant was so cold I had to wear my coat. There is no ambience, so bright I thought I was on stage and very noisy. It is overpriced. Will not return and certainly will not recommend to anyone.

After ordering appetizers and burgers, our appetizers came out ice cold a half hour later and after nearly an hour later and no burgers, we left. The owner was indifferent and the service was lousy. The poor waitress/bartender was running ragged even though there were only maybe seven people including the two of us in the entire place. This was the second bad experience and my last.

We had seafood and steak. The service was fabulous and we loved the food! We really liked the look and feel of the restaurant too.

ORDERED A PRIME RIB AND WAS SERVED A FLAT RIB EYE LOOKING STEAK THAT WAS OVER COOKED AND TASTELESS. SENT IT BACK AND REORDERED ANOTHER STEAK BUT MUCH TO MY DISMAY. EITHER ATRIUM NEEDS TO FIND A NEW CHEF OR BUY THEIR MEAT ELSEWHERE. COME ON ATRIUM...SHAPE UP! YOU HAVE A LOVELY RESTAURANT BUT NEED BETTER FOOD!

It certainly is a cut above your usual dining experience. You'll dine amongst museum quality tavern artifacts and are encouraged to tour both the Atrium and the adjoining Stein Haus. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful! I'll definitely patronize this establishment again and encourage my family and friends to do the same. It was fantastic!

I have had good Brooklyn Pizza and this is the best pizza in the Michigan tri-city area, hands down. The pizza is fresh with the finest ingredients the owners can find. The garlic Knots are awesome with the homemade mar
