Narragansett Restaurant Guide

I went there with my girlfriend and our 11 month old son on Saturday 1/26/08. We were initially told it would be an hour wait. I wanted to go the girlfriend wanted to stay. An hour passed, then an hour and 10 minutes. I inquired about our seat and was told it would be 10 more minutes. 15 minutes went by and I asked again about being seated. We were told 20 more minutes. Having waited this long we decided to stay. 25 minutes after that we were finally seated. Total wait time to be seated: 1 hour 50 minutes!!!! We didn't even get as much as an apology for the wait time! Keep in mind the waiting room is very small and drafty, plus they did not have the heat on out there.

I ran into one of my co-workers while I was there. She said she waited 45 minutes for her seat and then once she ordered her food it took an hour for her meal to be brought out.

Fortunately once we were seated our food came out quickly. The food was good but certainly not worth waiting an hour and 50 minutes for. I was very disappointed. I certainly will not be recommending this place to anyone from now on which is a shame because it used to be a great place. Since this incident I've heard from friends who have had similar experiences. Arturo Joe's certainly seems to have lost their touch since they reopened!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
