This was once a really great seafood restaurant with quite reasonable prices.They also had a very good discount carry out service.That in and of itself was truly an added plus.It was a very popular family run seafood place.Lovely ambiance as well.Their mini crabcakes where SUBLIME!!! :o)
Sadly this uniquely great seafood place is now very much "Out Of Business!!"They have been for several years now!It was indeed a "Very Sad Day" when I found this Wheaton Md.landmark abandoned.
I think I would have cried right there on the spot
if I hadn't been so shocked!!I mean"Who Knew?!"Oh what a stab to the heart!! Especially,when I... "Remember When."This fine seafood eatery will truly be missed and will never "ever" be replaced because of it's history in time.Some places are like that.This indeed was certainly one of them!
With a tearful and heartfelt nostalgic nod I say thanks so much for it all Anchor Inn...for everything! Indeed.

    Great food, wonderful service. I had an amazing time with friends. I even tried the greek wine, not so bad. The gyros platter was the best. The appetizers were incredible!
