In 1946 Nick and his wife Marge, along with their children (Mike, Margie, and Ruth) moved to Taylor Mill and purchased Klosterman's Grove. At the urging of friends and with the desire to serve the public, "Nick's Grove" was established. In addition to the new business, they also added an addition to the family - Vito Patrick Casullo, Jr.
The business flourished and grew. It became a place for people from the Tri-State area to come for good food, friendly atmosphere, and dancing with live music. Some very good memories are still recalled of the old Nick's Grove. If ever there was an American Dream, Nick lived it!
Nick, along with his family and support of friends, continued to run the business until his death in January of 1973 at the age of 85. Vito Jr. and his wife Becky took over the business in 1973. They now run the restaurant with the help of their two children, JJ and Vito III, and long-time friends Jack and Kit.
Nick's Grove has undergone several changes. There is no longer dancing and live music - but the good food, friendly atmosphere, and "Nick's Famous Fried Chicken" are still here to be enjoyed by all!
As always, Nick's Grove is committed to excellence in service. Remember good food takes time. Relax and enjoy your visit with us!
