a diner from somersworth nh,
what a difference from the old place. mywife and I went in for a burger and a beer and once we looked over the menu we decided to try the lobstermac and cheese and the n.y.strip..incredible,best steak north of Boston, and lobster mac was out of this world. location was off the beaten path but it was worth it. very clean inside. We decided to stay because of music playing in the night club, We had a great time.

Totally worth the trip!
I can't say I had very high expectations for this place. The sign, the frontage, the location, all leave some to be desired; but the food was superb! I had heard it was, but everybody says that. In this case everyone was right. The service was sincere, earnest, and personable too. We had 5 in our party and our waitress was attentive to each. Almost all the tables were full on a Friday evening, but I would still recommend coming on the weekend because the prime rib was amazing and it is only available Friday and Saturday. The fact is, there was attention paid to the whole meal, not just the prime rib. The mashed potatoes were yukon gold with that sweet buttery taste, and our vegetable was fresh green beans which had been steamed and then sauted in garlic butter which made them beautifully flavorful but with a fresh slightly resistant firmness. We didn't try the desserts but the onion ring appetizer was just right. They weren't the unruly pile of over-breaded and flash cooked rings I so often get, the ones where you bite in and the whole scalding hot onion comes sliding out of the crispy breading to sizzle your lips off. These were only lightly coated, almost tempura style, with a sweet, light, oniony zing, perfect. The atmosphere is fairly standard for a neighborhood grill type establishment, nothing fancy and as they grow they will no doubt upgrade, which hopefully will involve some acoustic tile, there is a nasty echo. The prices were very reasonable though, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and preparation. A definite foodie find!
