Springfield Restaurant Guide

We lived in Springfield, MO for 7 years, sadly enough we found this 2 years into our time there. Thai House is definitely the best Thai restaurant in Springfield, MO!!! We have eaten in the other Thai restaurants in Springifled and although they are good they cannot touch Thai House! This is a family owned restaurant and they truly live up to that standard. The staff was always courteous and very helpful when we wanted to venture out in our choices. We now live in the DC area and have found a couple of good Thai places to eat but we always remember the times we spent at Thai House with great food and great friends!

Thai Pepper has some of the LEAST authentic Thai cuisine I have ever had the misfortune to be presented with. They've toned everything down - we had difficulty telling the difference between what we ordered and typical midwestern "Chinese" cuisine. I do not understand how it ever got a high rating from the local newspaper, except that the reviewer probably had no idea what Thai food was supposed to taste like. I would pass on this restaurant and eat at one of the other two Thai places in town. In fact after my first experience there I DID pass on this restaurant!

If you want a good meal this is the spot.the food is pretty authentic.
When your planning to visit this restaurant on a weekend make a reservation.
The one drawback is that the dinning area is small for the amount of business they have.[Tables too close together]. This could be fixed by another expanded eating area.They have one.
When I go out to dinner in Springfield I like to have the overall expierience.This includes great authentic quality food,a spacious dinning area,good miked drinks wine,music,costumes and great interior decorations to transport me to that country or era.I know this costs more but I willing to pay for more then the food
