We ate at Texas Outlaw today. Our waitress forgot to turn our order for a Blooming Onion in. Food order: 2 Brisket & a BBQ Chicken Sandwich all covered with too much BBQ sauce. All three would have been great with less sauce. I had potato soup. It tasted grainey. Turkey sandwich not bad. We were so dispointed because of the Blooming Onion was forgotted. Fixed French Fries for my sister and she had ordered Potato Saled. I asked waitress if I could just have half a Turkey Sandwich she told me No. We will not be back. This was around 3:30 P.M. Absolute worst filet of my life.It was fatty and chewy. Since when has a filet ever been either??? Bad service, the waitress brought our kids food but failed to bring ours for another 30 min.,on top of it I asked for A1 and she never brought it,and was no where around to even ask for it!! I will never return to this place.I hope in the future Outlaw can not only get better meats, servers wouldnt be a bad idea either!!

Until last Friday (12/14/07) I was a fan of this restaurant, however I had only been there for lunch. This particular time I took my daughter and mother out for dinner. My mother is blind in her right eye and has limited eyesight in her left eye.

Ryans in Elizabethtown, KY was going downhill fast! A new manager, Mr. David Fiscus, came on board and we (as VERY regular diners) have again come to have faith in Ryans. He has cleaned it up; used methods to improve the hotness and freshness of fo

Was my first night on the road heading for Texas. Had planned to go to the Texas Roadhouse. That place was a zoo. So drove across the street to Texas Outlaw Barbeque...what a wonderful experience. Nice atmosphere, waitress was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good steak.

Driving from Chicago to Louisville we stopped in here hoping to eat some good barbeque. I decided to get the sampler with ribs, bbq, and chicken. The food was great. If you are passing through Elizabethtown, KY it is worth your time to stop here and eat. The price was good and the service was fine.

We are in Elizabethtown, KY for the Armor Conference, staying at Holiday Inn Express off Interstate 65. Prior to our check-in, we decided to eat somewhere close by, that being Outlaw, around 7:30 pm. My husband ordered BBQ Pork Plate and I ordered a sirloin steak - medium rare. There was no additional hot sauce for my husband (loves hot BBQ). My potato would hardly melt the margarine on it and was a left-over potato (crusty and too much unnatural yellow, signs of a potato that has not been recently cooked - within the last 30 minutes). My steak was cooked pretty much as I wished, just cold. Our service left a lot to be desired. We went to your restaurant, we ordered, we ate (because we had not eaten since breakfast), we left and as far as we are concerned, we won't go back. And no, we did not complain because we were not sure it would be to our advantage or handled in a timely manner so to do. We would have just been there longer. Good luck in the future, hopefully you will improve your service. From now on, for good meal with hot food, especially steak we will be at Texas Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse.

On the way to eat one day we discovered that Texas Roadhouse was full up so we went down the street to Texas Outlaw Barbecue. The prices were outrageous, the service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. We have NEVER been back.
