Coming from places like Miami, Las Vegas and Boca Raton I envisioned Sugarland a little more upscale and cutting edge on it's menu but I was disappointed. Although they decorated the place with some fancy cakes. The things you could expect to find behind the counter was little more than what your mom might make and actually mom has made better. The store looks like it could use a good cleaning for one. It lacks warmth of any kind. Think subway not starbucks. They have gellato which is good but so do half a dozen places in Chapel Hill so I wouldn't go just for that. The price they are charging for cupcakes would cause one to think it surely was made fresh that day but I seriously doubt the two I bought were. The chocolate turtle one was the better of the two but small and again not that fresh. One ran for three twenty five. I could make a dozen myself for what I paid for two. the chocolate frosting was noteworthy and tasted like a thick layer of Nutella. The strawberry was really undesirable. Very unreal strawberry taste and strong at that. I doubt I will go back as I can make better and the place selling bubble tea across the street chill is awesome.

Pop's recently remodeled and it looks very nice! Their pizza is as good as ever and so is their friendly service. if you haven't tried Pops in a while you should definitely try it again... it's really nice on the inside now.

This is my Chapel Hill regular spot. I have never ordered anything here I didn't like. The pizza is soo good and very affordable. The waitstaff is a little on the casual side but always friendly and willing to accommodate special requests. Perfec
