This is a great family restaurant. We like to split the family meal for five people. It comes with five large sides and their great cornbread. They often run specials and currently they are selling chickens for only $1.99 when you purchase any family meal. The sides taste frsh and homemade. my famil...

I LOVE Boston Chicken. The food is fresh, flavorful, and very family friendly. If you dine in they now serve you on real plates, not throw away stuff. It is a great blend of fast food and sit down atmosphere. They have brisket and turkey as well as chicken but we usually stick with the rotisserie ch...

Our visit to Breadmans' yesterday will be our last. Food was fair, but the service was really horrible. Food ordered was forgotten, when requested it took a trip inside for an additional request and still another ten minutes, with no apologies. Claim of being smoke free is not true, smoking (and lot...

I'm not a big fan of Southern food, but this restaurant has always been enjoyable for me nonetheless. The waitstaff, consisiting mostly of UNC students, is one of the friendliest in town. Low prices and sizable portions... there always seems to be at least one police officer dining here.
I was locked out of my house. The fine staff at Brueggers Eastgate gave me a place to sit and comfort until I could get a family member to open my house. The staff are wonderful and the food is good too. I highly recommend Brueggers.
This restaurant, though not much to look at, offers some of the best wings and sandwiches around. Tuesdays, they feature 25 cent wings, which is always a great value. Try the Blazin' sauce if you dare.
I thought this place was over priced, and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The evening I visited, every table in the restaurant seemed to be dirty to some degree.
This is my Chapel Hill regular spot. I have never ordered anything here I didn't like. The pizza is soo good and very affordable. The waitstaff is a little on the casual side but always friendly and willing to accommodate special requests. Perfect weekly Italian date spot.

Good food, better beer. This restaurant is great for casual dining, but I do not recommend driving there; you'll want to sample a few pints of their own microbrews. The food is a nice compliment, with great sandwiches, pastas, and the like. Try the "artichoke and cheese rarebit" appetizer.
This nice little restaurant has really come around in the past year (2000) to be one of the hippest places to eat and drink in Chapel Hill. The food here can be a bit rich, so come hungry. After ten, the bar begins to hop, featuring local bands and terrific drink specials.
A college student can't eat here on his own budget more than once or twice, so this fine restaurant obviously caters to alumni and visitors to the University of North Carolina. The food here is excellent, with heavy emphasis on the presentation, and the dining room itself exudes Southern elegance. T...

Finally a boba tea place around here in NC. I know they probably use the bubble tea name because most people around here have never heard of boba tea but it is really big in the west coast and in Asian countries. I've tried their Mocha & Taro and both are very good depending in the mood. I would als...

I've been dreaming about this place and couldn't wait to return. This place has awesome bubble teas! I love the cappachino one and the taro is done right. Highly recommend!
This nice little Chinese restaurant is hidden in Eastgate shopping center, and from the outside, it doesn't look like it has much to offer. If you do happen upon it though, you'll find a friendly and courteous staff and some of the best (though not the most authentic) Chinese food in Chapel Hill. Lu...
The China Chef restaurant is indeed a unheralded delight. The service is top notch and waitresses even have a sense of humor. The food is tried and true (excellent) from many years of experience. As the restaurant front is small, many of my friends think it is a take-out only. This is the best plac...

This is certainly an interesting place - a little restaurant on the edge of Carrboro, set in a cozy retro-type diner. The food is good - Southern with an alternative twist to it - and the crowd is eclectic to say the least. When I visited, I saw a man in a flannel shirt, jeans, and cowboy boots at o...
El Rodeo offers the best Mexican food in town, along with the most authentic staff. The margaritas are great, and so are their giant (48oz?) draft beers. This place sees its regulars come in each week, with prices and quality as favorable as they are.
Somewhat of the typical mexican restaruant with reasonable prices, but the food is very tasty and the wait staff is excellent.

When I heard about a fast-food restaurant that had "low-fat", "health conscious", and "organic" food, I was naturally excited (being a resident of Chapel Hill). The restaurant keeps a clean appearance and the environment is good. They stock random free-trade chocolate bars. I walk up to the register...

You can always count on Evos to provide a health array of choices for everyone. From burgers and fries to mix green salads, there will be something for even the most picky person. They even cover their bases with kids by having shakes on their menu! There service is always fast and friendly. The on...
