I love this place!!! Been stop'n here since the 70's with my parents on our annual family reunion road trips from Illinois to VA Beach & Nags Head NC. If you like smokey, slightly tangy, pulled pork BBQ then you'll love Pierces - It's more of a North-Meets-South BBQ! If vinegar style or even KC style BBQ is what your use to you might wanna choose something else off the menu :) Also, the tradition of ordering a Pierces w/the slaw on the sandwich has been attributed to truck drivers on the go (who not only find it tasty) but also find this method easier and safer than eating the slaw on the side!
