WE ATE AT ALFANO'S FOR THE 1ST TIME ON SAT., NOV. 15. TWO OF US ORDERED THE SPECIALS AND WERE NOT TOLD THE COST. I ORDERED THE CHICKEN SPECIAL AND WHEN THE BILL CAME, IT WAS $42.00. I AM SORRY BUT NO CHICKEN IS WORTH $42.00 AND OUR WAITER SHOULD HAVE ADVISED ME OF THE PRICE SINCE I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED HAD I KNOWN IT WAS $42.00. I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THE VEAL CHOP. I DO NOT KNOW THAT I WILL GO BACK TO ALFANO'S SINCE I HAVE NEVER PAID SO MUCH MONEY FOR CHICKEN. THE AMBIANCE IS GREAT AND IT IS A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT BUT IF YOU ARE CHARGING SUCH A LARGE AMT. FOR A SPECIAL, THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TOLD. THANK YOU, ESTHER MCMANUS
