This place is great! I've rated the 'service' and 'ambience' low... because it's not 'that kind of restaurant'!
The food is fabulous, always the freshest and done to order - so important in a seafood place. It's a 'sit down' restaurant, but there aren't any waiters...you order and wait till your number is called and bring it to your table.
What Southside saves in paying waiters they give back to you in value! The dinners are wonderful, large, fresh portions and very reasonably priced -I'd say about half to one third of what you'd pay somewhere else.
If you're looking for ambience, candlelight, this isn't the restaurant to go to, but if you're looking for value and wonderfully delicious and fresh seafood where the kids ...
