Timbuktu Restaurant
After hearing about Timbuktu's crabcakes for more than two years, I knew I had to experience them for myself and needless to say, they more than exceeded my expectations, both times. The food is excellent and at very reasonable prices. The waiters/waitresses demonstrate great customer service as well. I was, however, thrown off by the look and feel of the place. The old website gave me the impression that it would be a classy restaurant, suggesting that customers make reservations and even stating a dress code. We quickly found out that we could have worn sweats and sneakers and fit right in, that was disappointing. It just seems the name "Old Anchor Inn" would be more suitable, then you wouldn't have such high expectations. I guess you don...

Once they came into the area, we have NEVER ordered from anywhere else. The food is awesome and the veggies the freshest we've EVER tasted. OUR favorite for at least the last 5 years!
Great food, but it took forever to get it...My wife and I will try it one more time to see if it was just a bad night for them...Will let you know...
