La Trattoria Italian Restaurant
The best lasagna and garlic bread my wife and I have ever had -- period.
It was probably 1992 when we randomly chose to eat here (on our way back to San Diego). A few years later, my wife asked me where the BEST lasagna I ever had was -- and I said "That place we went to in Ventura.".
So, returning from another trip earlier this week, we decided to try to find that place again. And, amazingly -- because we did not know the name or address -- we WERE able to find it!
Still the same owner, still the same lasagna, and it is still excellent. My wife is not normally a huge lasagna fan -- but she is now a big fan of that dish at this place. Highly recommended.

Our FAVORITE Italian spot. Been going there for over 30 years. Enjoy the Sam's Melt and dipping sauce & Bob O'Grady's Salad. Garlic Bread is the best!
