My brothers & I have eaten at Richards for 45 years, since we were little kids. By far, our favorite Mexican food source. More than half a century ago, Richards was a little taco stand surrounded by orange & avocado groves. They fed the early field workers. Many years ago, it was sold to an Asian couple who carefully learned the receipes. They have never deviated from the original food. A chile relleno burrito tastes the same as 45 years ago. The owners speak fluent Spanish .. good thing 'cause most of the patrons are Hispanic. Try the combination shredded beef burrito and take home a quart of their famous home-made salsa.
