Restaurant Description
Quarterdeck® was founded by Paul Flanigan. Paul is the nephew of the late Joseph Flanigan, the South Florida founder of the locally popular Flanigan's and Big Daddy's concepts, which debuted in Fort Lauderdale in 1958. Quarterdeck® was launched in 1995 when Paul Flanigan chose not to renew his then-10-year-old Flanigan's franchise. Breaking from the neighborhood-tavern prototype, Paul created a 6,000-square-foot Florida casual concept dressed with sliding windows and large, covered patios.Quarterdeck® stays focused on a neighborhood-oriented strategy in its expanding South Florida territories. Each store is built to its market using an ambiance of old marine equipment, surfboards, framed photos of customers and their families, and huge saltwater fishtanks. "Our customers don't just eat; they hang out", says Paul Flanigan. "For us, it's about doing what you love, serving the food you like, and making a personal connection with your customers.

WE HELD A FAMILY GET TOGETHER FOR ABOUT 20 PEOPLE . THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT FOR A LOCAL DINER SERVING A PARTICULAR NEIGHBOORHOOD AS THIS DOES

Great casual place where the food is always good, plentiful and served at a great price. The garlic rolls are a must have!
