First a warning. If you are going there for the roasted pizza, the oven is currently down, and they DO NOT have any sign or indication that it is out until you are seated. So no pizza is available. As for the rest, If you like your pasta soggy and swimming in sauce, this is your place. We tried our usual mix of appetizers and mains. In this case it was Manicotti, Chicken Parm, a meatball sub, and Ravioli. The Ravioli was tasty, but more than skimpy in size and poorly presented. The chicken Parmigiana was the biggest disappointment. The chicken itself was passable, and the portion was generous. However the pasta was cooked to the consistency of mush and the sauce was subpar. I mean a staggering out of a jar sub par. Ditto with the sauce on the manicotti. No offer of bread was ever made. Entree's came with no salad. The service was passable due to the fact only one staff member was serving.

Tonight was our first visit to Papa Pia's. It was very pleasant and we were glad we stopped in. Warm atmosphere, and the food was GREAT. Party of 4 so we did the Family style and for under $50 4 of us were FULL and we each shared what we ordered among each other. Dessert was great, had the Tiramisu and it was mouth watering. We will be back again. this one is on our list of GREAT Places to eat in downtown Memphis, TN.

My wife and I visited Marciano's on 03/04/2010. The space is nicely decorated, with a small bar on part of one wall and several tables in front. We were seated immediately by our attentive waitress, and given plenty of time to read over the menu afte ...

Save your time (and money) A friend and I went to Marciano's last night and were disappointed. Appetizer was good, but short on avocado and the crab meat may have been fresh but did look a bit like imitation crab. Salad was ok, but my spinach was d ...
