My husband and I decided to try Mr. Taco out of curiosity, and we soon became regulars! We never knew what a gem we had right in our own home town! We have never seen such a variety of authentically prepared dishes offered anywhere else. With seventeen varieties of burrito, Twenty-six combination plates and seventeen seafood dishes, as well as tacos, tortas, tostadas, enchiladas and tamales, you are sure to find your new favorite food, or foods! Nine Mexican breakfasts are served all day, as well as the most delicious hamburgers. There is a daily lunch special and Menudo is served daily, not just weekends. The restaurant is clean and as cozy and inviting as a kitchen in Mexico. Pedro or one of his servers will offer you friendly, prompt service. Call-ahead and catering are also available. Conveniently located right off I-80, it is well worth the stop to experience what is truly "The best Mexican food in Solano County", or indeed anywhere, maybe even Mexico itself!

We visited Mr. Taco after they moved to 2600 Plaza Court, and we quickly became regulars. They are advertised as "The Best Mexican Food in Solano County" and we agree! With 17 varieties of burritos, 26 combination plates ranging from tacos & enchiladas to Cochinita Pibil (baked pork in banana leaves, which tastes like Heaven!), 17 seafood plates and 9 Mexican breakfasts (served all day) you are sure to find your new favorite meal! Mr. Taco is just off the I-80 exit in Dixon, and well worth the stop. They have daily lunch specials, and their Menudo is served every day, not just on weekends. Soups (6 kinds!), appetizers, desserts and hamburgers (try the Mr. Burger, with cheese, grilled onions and ham) are also available. They also do catering, and call-ahead service (707-678-9067) is also available. The atmosphere is as comfortable and cozy as a Mexican kitchen, with courteous, friendly service from Pedro or one of his servers. Portions are huge -- the salads always surprise new visitors! We have become such fans that you might just see us there when you visit!
