Four of us went to 7 pm dinner on a recent Sunday evening. The "specials" presented to us included prime rib. Three of us ordered this dish. After a few minutes we were informed that it was no longer available. We selected other items including filet mignon. After a few minutes we were informed that the filet was also no longer available. Two of us then selected a shrimp, calamari, and mussels dish. It arrived, along with a bowl for mussel shells. Unfortunately there were no mussels in the dish. We asked the waitperson about this and were informed that the kitchen had run out of mussels. The result was a bland and only marginally satisfying dish. The entire experience was very disappointing. We were shown no concern except by the waitperson who seemed sympathetic. A return visit is doubtful.
An old house...1826 or there abouts. Wood paneled walls and wooden booths...each with its own little TV set. Necessary?? You decide. Food was mainly Italian..good and plentiful.
