Santa Monica Restaurant Guide

I was a guest in the "Lounge" area where they have live bands and dancing on a Friday evening. I made previous arrangements with the manager to celebrate my birthday there. The promoter and bouncer, who apparently are very dishonest, created problems for my guests throughout the course of the evening and accused me of owing $150 for guests who had never arrived; and rather than admit fault, they prevaricated their story. The location is beautiful and the food was very delicious but I would not visit again because of those problems with the staff and management nor would I recommend this location to anybody else.

Writing this review to warn others about the horrible dinning experienced we endured on New Years Eve-PRICE LESS!

This is a ultimate Asian experience. The decor is right out of Bali travel guide with lots of bamboo & authentic artifacts from Southeast Asia. The Sushi bar is manned by the Executive chef from Japan and the quality and the flavor shows the care. The rest of the menu is mish mash of Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian and it seems like very country in Asia is represented. The flavors are distict and quality is unmatched. But my favorite part is the Live music they offer in their upstairs lounge Wednesday thru Sunday. The caliber of bands they bring in is amazing, from 10piece salsa band from Cuba to R&B diva and to great Jazz quartet. I think this place is one of the hidden treasures in Santa Monica shore.
