This is the only Chinese restaurant in Solvang. It's also the worst not only in Solvang but also in the entire United States!
One of the menus given to us had a dead mosquito stuck on one of its pages. The waiter (a tall, rather lanky clean-cut) is rude and melodramatic. When we ordered a dish he didn’t agree with, he argued with us until we ordered something he was okay with. However, the food did not compensate with the already poor service we receive. Shrimp in Sizzling Rice Soup was almost tasteless, Beef Chow Mien was passable. When we paid $20.20 for a bill of $17.20, the waiter did not return us the change. Not until the head manager came to us. We told him we are waiting for receipt, waiter then comes back with empty receipt form to ask us what amount to write on it. What?! It's on the check. Why is he asking us?!! Couldn’t he have just look it up??? Then he returned the change but refused to give receipt for payment. His excuse: “No receipt for cash payment.” This is the first restaurant I’ve ever been that refused to give receipt when asked. My wife was so upset that we left quickly. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody, Chinese or non-Chinese. Service is bad, food is bland, and unfriendly rude staff. Worst Chinese restaurant in the country!
