I never give a bad review. The one star is for great food, the minus 4 stars is for HORRIBLE service by the owner. I let the first couple RUDE things go, but once she got the people in an uproar next to us because she yelled at them for not knowing the menu, it was hard to enjoy myself. Then as we were signing the bill she asked if he had a reservation. When I said confused: "no" she responded sternly: "Well you *should* have!". Uh ok, freak! I couldn't believe it. She seemed so frazzled all night. Hire a REAL waitress because you are driving the customers away. WORST experience I've ever had dining out. Will NEVER return.
And they overcharged us when we used our LivingSocial coupon. :-/ uh, that's credit card fraud. Nice.

What a wonderful place in this sea of horrible chain restaurants!! The food was amazing but the service was ever better. Nabila is a sweetheart! She put candles in our dessert, it was so lovely. I can't wait to go again. The food is so fresh and bursting with flavor. I am so happ to have found this restaurant and will be coming back again and again. The lemonade is heaven!!

La Shish is one of our favorite restaurants in Cary and we've become regulars. We moved here last year and I missed the Lebanese Taverna Next to Whole Foods in Annapolis. Not any more. The owner, Nabila, is always welcoming and got to know us by name after our second visit. La Shish is the only place I can go and have fresh made from scratch falafel that wasn't fried earlier in the day and microwaved while being waited while I can enjoy a decent glass of wine and my husband enjoys a beer.

LaShish is one of my very favorite restaurants! The food is outstanding! Everything is fresh and made daily. The service is great too!
