Yorktown Heights Restaurant Guide

Kirbys Grill and Bar opened in July of 2010. The place is just phenominal. The previous reveiws are from Miracles as you can tell by the dates they were posted Kirbys was not yet in business. I would definitly try Kirbys!!!

Went there only once, the service was slow and confused and the food really wasn't that good. It seemed like the place was trying to be too many things at once - a local bar, a restaurant with a fancy menu, and a nightclub. I've never been there for the nightlife, but it fails at the first two.

The second time I tried to go there, it was early dinnertime. The door was locked, and the staff just stared at us as we shook the door. No opening the door, no mention that maybe they weren't serving yet (even though patrons were at the bar and the place definitely looked open) just a blank stare. Suffice to say, we won't try a third time.

My husband and i went into Miracles not to long ago to try out the new place in Yorktown. We were seated and at first everything was fine. Our waitress, Robin, i believe her name was was somewhat friendly at first. We had ordered one appetizer and two meals (one for the each of us). It took about 20 minutes if not more to recieve the appetizer we ordered. She had apoligized for the wait however my husband was already fusturated because she had been talking to some other teenagers most of the time who may have been her friends instead of worry about her tables. When we finally did get our appetizer to the table it was cold. I didnt even want to eat at the point so i waited for my grilled chicken sandwich to come out. My sandwich was okay however it did taste as if it was sitting in the back for a while. When my husband and I let the waitress know about all the problems she seemed as if she didnt care which bothered the both of us even more. The nicest person there must have been the busboy because he said sorry more then our waitress who was clearly busy doing her own thing instead of working. Im sorry to say but our experience was not a good one and we will not be returning.

I went to Miracles for diner and the experience was awful! The waitress seemed to be more conserned with talking to her friends then actually helping us with our order. We had placed an order for an app. to start and we didnt recieve it until our meal came out. Not to mention it was cold! I have to say our time spent there was truely the worse. I myself am a waitress also but these girls clearly have no idea what they were doing. The costumer should be the most important thing not talking and hang out while at work. Im sorry to say but i would reccomended no one to go there! One of the worse places i have been in a long time.

Went here today for lunch because we had received a gift certificate--and it was a god-awful experience. They were clearly short staffed, and it took a long time to get any service, but thats understandable. We placed our order, wings to start, 2 burgers & the grilled chicken baguette. Never got our wings--just our food--fine, just dont charge us. Burgers were ordered Med and came out Well--fine, happens all the time. The chicken sandwich was not on a baguette but good--until I found a GIANT hair in the 2nd half. After all that! So I told the busboy, who told me to tell the waitress, who had not been back to the table since we had placed our order. He gets her and finally we tell her we missed our app & about the hair. She comes back w/ the check saying she took the app off (not that we even got it). But I still got stuck paying for a hairy sandwich. This was beyond poor service and beyond the excuse of being short-handed. I will NEVER go back!

the quantity, quality and price were the best. Food is awesome and staff real friendly. Guaranteed to go there many many times more
