we had a death in the family and our friends in Frisco, Texas ordered some food from Carino's for the people that would come over to our house after the services. They only order food for 12 but it was the amount of food and the charge, one hundred and eleven dollars that floored mee when the driver delivered it. It was enough for maybe 5 or 6, thank goodness we had other food but the meal consisted of spaghetti and 6 meatballs and ravioli and 3 meatballs, not enough for 12 people plus tossed salad and rolls. very disappointed. I used them once before for my husband's 70th birthday and was very happy with that meal but this was a real disapointment.

I love Johnny Carino's in Katy. I have been going there for years and have rarely been disappointed. I love the chicken scaloppini but it is very rich. For lunch, my new favorite is the wedge salad. It is high calorie but not bad if that is your main dish. Another favorite is the bruschetta on grilled bread. Often I order the bruschetta to share with friends and just have the wedge salad. It is more than enough when you take into consideration the fresh bread and olive oil with garlic chips. The wait staff is young but they try very hard to please. Give them credit for working instead of getting in trouble. My last two visits, a young woman named Eva waited on us. She remembered us from the previous meeting a month before. She was charming and efficient. I intend to continue making Johnny Carino's in Katy my regular for Italian food.

I am surprised that this restaurant doesn't have a line waiting out the door. The food is the best in Katy Texas.

Very poor service. waiter forgot to order an entree. delivered 5 others and said, 'oh your turkey something is missing' and hustled off. We didn't order a turkey something. 5 mins later he brings a turkey something and we get a chance to tell him that's not was order. he seemed really put out. 15 mins later we got the 6th entree. Everyone else had finished most of their meal. The guy never apologized for the inconvenience and although we saw him discussing with the manager, this guy didnt come over to apologize either. Very poor. I won't go back

I have eaten here several times and am overall pleased with the restaurant. I think the teenage staff is hardworking and does a good job. The menu is varied and is priced reasonably. This is a good place for family dinners or dates. I only wish some families would teach their children how to behave in restaurants, i.e. not running around, keeping their voices down.

This is one of my favorite italian restauranats. My staff and I liked their food so much we even had them cater our Christmas party one year. It is a great value!

Today, the senior citizen residents of our apartment community have chosen it as a part of the outing - The result is one of the biggest number of day trip signups we've ever had.

This place is run by a bunch of teen-agers. The service was worse than the food which was not good. There were some strange spices in the spaghetti sauce and we could not tell what it was. It sure was not Italian. We wwill not be going back here again. Not good.

I think that the food is pretty good. Yes, the service isn't that great, but the food is really good. At least, what I have had when I go was really good.
