You do not have to be around North Carolina very long before you learn that BBQ has deep cultural roots. I have been "messin" with it for more than 30 years.
For the past 14 year I have been pit cooking nearly everything and over the same amount of time trying a variety of woods. These days I use Hickory or Mesquite to create the flavors that folks seem to enjoy. In addition to pork, beef, chicken, turkey, and sausage, we do Ribs. We have a successful history of competing and we do the whole nine yards.

Wonderful, little, hidden, hole in the wall that you wouldn't randomly walk into. Heard they are moving near whole foods but the BBQ is wonderful. Best in the area.
Great place to get a bagel being from NY there are not many places to find a great tasting bagel. But we had a party a few months ago and everyone in Cary asked where we got the bagels from. Nice people and great product!
