GREAT FOOD AT A REASONABLE PRICE! Our family enjoyed The Holly Inn / La Fonda de Acebo since the late '60's. I remember splitting meals with my brother until I was about 11 or 12. It was a great day when I was allowed to order my own Tacorito, as the Tacorito is one of my favorite meals ever! Their presentation of Mexican food - with a Colorado influence - is very unique. They have several different choices of savory Tacorito fillings, providing a choice for everyone. While it is not ‘fast-food’, we rarely have a long wait for our meals after we have ordered. The wait staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate our picky-eaters special requests. (None of this, extra of that…) Be sure to save room for Sopapillas with honey, theirs are AWSOME! If you arrive early on Friday or Saturday evening wait times are very reasonable, so don't be late!

My husband and I both ordered tacoritos, the house specialty. He loved it, but I thought it was only so-so. Our waitress was extremely rude. They categorically refused to do any substitutions, even on the kids menu. They had a quesadilla with refried beans (how many kids like refried beans, anyway?) and also chicken fingers with fries. We asked if we could get the quesadilla but with fries-- no way, we were told. Guess that's too complicated for them. So unhappy kid = unhappy parents. Also, the kid's meals come with a drink, but if you forget to specify what kind, they don't ask, they just don't bring you one. Anything to save a buck, I guess. All food was also overpriced. Won't be going back.
