My husband and I have eaten here many times in the past year, and each time the food is more delicious than the last. He usually goes for the buffet, but I stick to the menu items, which are very unusual for a typical "Chinese Restaurant", featuring organic, healthy meats and produce. They also have an extensive, healthy vegetarian menu. The appetizers often can be a meal in themselves. The Jade Dumplings are to die for - thinly rolled spinach dough wrapped around shrimp and cilantro, then steamed and served with a wonderful, fat-free sauce. That's dinner for me right there! Those who have not yet tried the menu, you are missing some of the best and unique Chinese food north of the Gate, generous portions and reasonable prices!

Chinese
The food was so salty, the shimp in lobster sauce tasted as if they had poured a can of "creamed corn" over the top. Nothing was fresh only canned or frozen. Very poor for a suburan Chinese. My advise, stay away.

My favorite chinese restaurant around! The chicken is free range, grain fed etc. I saw someone didn't like their chow mein and I would guess that they are used to greasy food. This restaurant serves fresh, healthy food which is not overcooked. Excell ...

The people there are very friendly and go out of their way to make your day. I've been going there for years but the quality of their food has gone downhill. The vegetables in the wonton soup aren't fully cooked and the fried rice was mushy. IDK i ...

Our favorite place to take friends for Chinese! This is the place to order the more interesting dishes. Crispy chunky chicken is to die for with huge hunks of ginger. The mango salad is amazing. There's a spinach salad with tofu, huge sauteed mushr ...

The reviews above are partialy correct. As long as you get there about a hour before they close they always have food out in their buffet. We are also forgeting about their menu. Fresh China does not only have the bbq and the buffet.Their menu is very good and that is were you can get many non-greasy food. Overall this restaurant is very good and is a good bargin for chinese food.

If you know what you want and what is healthy to eat, Gengis Khan or now Fresh China restaurant is for you, just as it is for me and my friend. We could go to any restaurant rated "best" in town such as Graziano or Semolina in Petaluma but we frequent Fresh China most often for its Mongolian Barbecue, not the buffet. I must say I like to prepare my own combination of ingredients and pass on less tasty ones, so to me Mongolian Barbecue is ideal, to have what I want without all the chopping, cutting and cooking. We typically add baby salad and as desert, melon and jello, to the barbecued mix of beef, lamb, bean sprout, onion green, bellpepper, mushroom etc...No starch for me when I eat meat and veggie. We very rarely try other dishes of the buffet, which do appear oily.

The reviewer before me must have been to a different resteraunt. It's all you can eat, so how can it be extremely expensive when it's around 8 or 9 dollars? The times I have been there (more than once) There has always been a good choice of items. It is not a high end joint, but it is quite nice for a healthy alternative to fast food or a much more expensive chinese lunch for two or three people. My girlfriend and i can easily spend thirty or forty dollars on a chinese dinner, yet it's under 20 here at Genghis Khan

This was the worst food in a buffet I have ever had, most of the selections were gone. The food that remained which had been there a long time was inedible and extremely expensive. A totally horrible experience and I had indigestion later on in the evening from the grease.
